Laugh

Usually when people ask me what I do or why I write, I tell them that I try to figure out the mysteries of the universe. Invariably, almost everyone laughs or the comment evokes a wry smile. Why would you laugh at someone’s attempt to figure out eternal questions?

The answer is that we have “agreed” to settle for so much less than we are capable–we have severely limited our potential by accepting the possibility of only incremental change. The SN has done a fabulous job of  “eliminating potential” which is another term for breaking up concentrated energy. Now you know why SNs over the ages have frequently limited educational opportunities–an SN has to be in control of concentrated energy. Out-of-control learning can be dangerously concentrated–and therefore a threat.

In quantum physics, the movement of one electron from one energy level to a higher energy level is called a quantum jump or leap. That is where the term “quantum leap” comes from in our everyday vernacular. In the real people world, the same sometimes occurs through the actions of the IMPACTS–human thinking and civilization can take a quantum leap from one level to a higher level.

It can happen. If anything, the attempts should be accompanied by joyous laughter–a celebration of the effort–not by flippant condescension. Let’s all start looking outside the boundaries–that’s where the answers are. Let’s celebrate and encourage inquiry. The status quo is not the answer.
