Common Sense

Sunday, January 31st, 2010 by Dickey Eason

Someone said that most new discoveries are nothing more than common sense unmasked. That’s all the IMPACTS concept is—common sense. That’s it. Most of it was common knowledge for the San tribe of Africa for 100,000 years or more. But then the SN arrived with agriculture and said, “No—the world is not as you say. It is as we say it is.”

And thus “civilization” began—mostly a form of SN manipulation and sculpted reality—and an SN capture of the energy of the IMPACTS to be used for the SN’s own left-brain world. This new world demanded loyalty from its subjects and clear, innovative thinking ONLY in “designated” areas like economics, science (sometimes), and mechanics—but not in people-problem areas or in decision-making areas (politics). Civilization became like the rest of the universe—a machine which exists only by virtue of fuel. The IMPACTS became the fuel for the SN machine just as stars are fuel for the galactic machine.

Civilization is the attempt by the SN to extract only what it wants from the IMPACTS—and to get rid of the rest. Wars such as the ones in Iraq and Palestine are examples. The SN wants only the IMPACTS it can “use”. It does not want the rebellious ones. The SN calls these people terrorists and kills them. That is the story of history since agriculture. Sad but true.

Like a TV Show

This is another way to look at the IMPACTS concept.

Currently, we look at life much as we do a TV show—we observe it mostly going by on the screen. We generally do not feel that powerful—only a minor participating role.

But with the IMPACTS concept you understand what is going on at any particular moment—you are a powerful part of the process—you understand the forces involved.

It is empowering!!

Little Guy

The IMPACTS Dynamic and concept is really about the “little guy” force in the universe–and there is one throughout. History and everything else is written by the “big guy” force, the SN. Let’s see how it all looks from the underdog side.

I can assure you of this–it looks totally different from what we have been taught. The “big guy” SN force tries to control everything. The IMPACTS force tries to balance everything and make it better. What we see is a hybrid of those 2 forces.

Dynamic

I see this element missing in every book I read that is trying to make sense of how the world, people, and the universe work–dynamic. There is a dynamic that is running through the universe and human beings are a manifestation of this dynamic. The dynamic is dispersal tendencies battling anti-dispersal tendencies.

If we put ourselves back into the mosaic of nature, everything begins to make sense. We are trying to write our own script in a universe that already has one. That’s why ours is so dysfunctional.

Why Don’t We See It?

Saturday, January 23rd, 2010 by Dickey Eason

Why don’t we see new truths that may be staring us in the face? Because that is not how the universe works. The structure of the universe is basically set–the creative-productive energy has been captured. It’s the same in our everyday world–the structure is basically set and the creative-productive energy of the IMPACTS is mostly captured as well. Usually it takes boldness, confidence, and simplicity to break the cycle of ideas and actions–and this usually comes from the periphery or the outside.

Everything follows the model of the hydrogen atom and its simplicity–one proton that is pulling inward and one electron that is reaching out for another electron, initiating CHANGE.
