I was just listening to the CEO of Google, Eric Schmidt, on CNN. Google is falling into the usual pattern that defines businesses as they get more “successful”–they become “captured” by the SN or structural-nucleus of society. They lose much of their “open–without boundaries” approach. They become a cog in the wheel of the SN or governing entity. The same fate happens to almost all companies no matter how much IMPACTS energy is present within the company.
Schmidt talked of the importance of new ideas but he neglected to mention one very important variable–in order to have truly new, paradigm-shifting ideas, one needs to be able to criticize every aspect of one’s environment, and that includes the government and its policies. He did not mention that and most certainly will not. Google is pretty much now “playing by the rules” that the SN has made.
The SN controls through capture of IMPACTS energy. It is the exact same dynamic that happens throughout the universe. The creative-formative-productive energy enables the creation of a structure, and a nucleus forms that takes control of that structure. It is universal.
